They were able to start working on our bikes immediately even though they were extremely busy. They were able to find a part that would work instead of waiting for 3 days for one from the dealer. The repairs held and we were able to continue our trip without further mechanical incident.Labor resonable cost and quick. One downside is they do not take credit cards. Helps to keep their costs down but can be a bit of a surprise if you are short on cash. Overall. Very good experience. The carb parts were back ordered...I kept calling and asking is the bike ready yet? On several occasions [probley more than Jason liked] he talked with me saying it isn't done yet... I will have to say with the pressure from me Jason didn'tbuckle and do a shoddy peace meal job just to get me off his back. He received the back ordered parts and cleaned the carb 3 times to get it right. It all started like this. I have two early 1970's Honda Trail CT90 trail bikes. I use them for puttering around the trails and logging roads and the primary use is for deer hunting. I was having a hard time finding a decent shop that would even touch these vintage bikes. Most motorcycle repair shops would turn a cheek and say "NO" when it came to performing a tune up or repair work on any bike over ten years old.  I did find two "work from home" motorcycle mechanics that attempted to tune and repair my bikes but fell far short as my problems cropped up almost immediately. Frustrated, i found Adrian and SSUMS on craigs list and decided to try a third time. Well let me tell you the third time was the charm as Adrian happily accepted taking in my vintage bikes and tuned and repaired them. When everything was said and done, these bikes performed and road as good as new. I was tickled pink. Adrian was very perfessional and his knowledge of not only my trail 90's but all bikes big and small was awe inspiring. And, though I'm loath to hand either over to a younger man, I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised. So, I first found Adrian on a craigslist ad, before he turned his garage business into Shiny Side Up. I'd just bought a 1982 Yamaha Maxim. It's a pretty bulletproof cruiser, but after a few years of neglect, it had developed some mechanical character. Since the bike was cheap I was looking for a pretty cheap, but miraculously competent, mechanic to bring it back to life. Adrian looked like just the ticket. He mostly works on sport bikes and is tied into one of the local race tracks. Still, he agreed to slum with my Maxim. After a hair-raising ride out to Adrian's impromptu shop in Lynnwood, I spent a half hour with him tsk-ing and tch-ing over my new buy. Despite his initial reservations, he grudgingly admitted the bike was basically sound and set to work. About four weeks, $500, and a couple of testy is-it-done-yet e-mails later, he gave me back a very functional machine that I've been riding, happily, ever since. In the ensuing couple of years, Adrian has opened a full-service shop in Redmond. His space is crammed with bikes from the '50s to the present, and he's one of the few mechanics in the area who can (and will) work on any bike make from any era, without apparent scorn or condescension. Now, I have no truck with flashy mechanics who talk big, but lack skill, patience, and/or experience. I like a man who seems to have an intrinsic, intimate sense of how things work and what makes them purr. (Lube this...tweak that...oh, ah!) Not every mechanic can make that claim, but Adrian is that sort of guy -- good people, great gearhead. From a consumer and human perspective, that's a real value. - Bounce this was the best took my 1980 goldwing in and it was done in short time this is the only place i will take my bike to. the work was done right not like some places you go too that just do a little and send you down the road and wait for you to come back for something that should have been done the first time you take you bike here it will be done right and the price will be fair what more can you ask for !!!! les munro How We Rated   Service Staff Repair Time Overall Experience Friendly, professional team went to work on my bike, and Adrian walked through everything with a fine-tooth comb to make sure everything was in perfect condition and working order - to the point of counting each bolt and washer and making sure that all were tightened appropriately.  No detail was overlooked.  It was worth the trip to Everett, and there will be no doubt of more trips there in the future.
